INTRODUCTION

Overview
HIFIT SCU Smart Control Unit is a new generation of electronic monitoring and protection device specifically designed for intelligent wire rope electric hoists. It integrates monitoring, control, protection, and management functions, achieving full lifecycle management of the electric hoist through three core modules: comprehensive safety protection, intelligent data monitoring, and remote operation and maintenance management.

Compared to traditional manual debugging modules, the SCU intelligent debugging can track equipment status in real time, quickly respond to faults, automatically manage operating data, and conveniently complete parameter adjustments, comprehensively improving the safety and efficiency of lifting operations. It is a core component for the intelligent upgrade of wire rope electric hoists.
Features
● Comprehensive Safety Protection: A three-tiered safety defense system is constructed. At the load level, it provides protection against overload, medium load, and sudden load increases. At the equipment level, it covers motor overheating, lifting overspeed, and brake wear monitoring. At the operation level, it includes multiple protections such as three-level password protection, anti-jamming, rope slack protection, and anti-oblique pull protection.

● Intelligent Data Monitoring: Automatically records full lifecycle data such as runtime, braking frequency, and lifting cycle count. It stores key information such as load peaks and fault codes in real time, supporting data export and cloud backup, enabling a shift from guesswork-based maintenance to accurate prediction.

● Remote Operation and Maintenance Management: The mobile app supports wireless parameter calibration, one-click firmware upgrades, and batch management of multiple devices. In case of a fault, it instantly pushes codes and cause analysis, significantly reducing on-site repair time and improving operation and maintenance efficiency.

● Diverse Adaptability: Compatible with a triple architecture of digital control + dual-speed motors, CANopen communication + variable frequency motors, and Ethernet + multi-device linkage, adapting to the control needs of different specifications of electric hoists.
Technical Highlights
High-Precision Monitoring
The load sensor has a load monitoring accuracy of ±1%, and the encoder is compatible with 1024-pulse models. It can accurately detect anomalies such as lifting overspeed (1.25-1.4 times the set value braking) and sudden load increases (load exceeding 30% within 200ms, motor speed reduction).

Strong Environmental Adaptability
Operating temperature range -40°C to +60°C, storage temperature range -40°C to +80°C, humidity 0~90% RH (non-condensing), vibration and shock resistance meet international standards, suitable for complex industrial environments.

Multi-Interface High Compatibility
Integrated RS-485 (Modbus-RTU), CANopen, WiFi, EtherNet and other communication interfaces, with clearly defined terminals, allowing direct connection to devices such as handheld switches, frequency converters, and inclinometers without additional adapters.
Characteristics
● Low barrier to entry: Basic setup requires only four buttons (ESC for back, page up/down, ENT for confirmation). A 12864-dot matrix LCD screen clearly displays device status. Automatic sleep mode is activated after 5 minutes of inactivity. No professional training is required.

● Low maintenance costs: Daily fault/operation records can be viewed via the app. Periodic inspections only require attention to basic components such as terminals, interfaces, and wiring, eliminating the need for specialized technicians.
